About Us
A Long-Term Perspective
Hadley Family Office was established in 2018 and is based outside Toronto, Canada. Hadley Family Office manages the group’s administrative, asset management, and planning functions, and oversees the group’s liquid assets, operating companies, and charitable foundation. Hadley Family Office actively invests in Canada, the United States, and The Cayman Islands and pursues a long-term growth mandate. Hadley Family Office’s areas of expertise include industrial automation, robotics, commercial real estate, and high-precision non-ferrous investment casting.
We are always interested in connecting with other family offices and charitable organizations, and actively seek to partner with others where our long-term goals are aligned and we can add value for mutual benefit.
Foundation
Hadley Family Foundation is a registered Canadian charity which operates as a private grant-making foundation. The foundation is mandated to provide long-term sustainable grants to high-impact charities working both in Canada and abroad.
Direct Investing
Hadley Family Capital is the direct investing arm of the family office dedicated exclusively to supporting acquisition entrepreneurs. It is an active investor in search funds and entrepreneurial acquisitions.
Our History
Where it Started
The Hadley family has a long tradition of entrepreneurship, dating back to 1964 when Barry Hadley founded Mid-Canadian Investment Castings in a double garage in Georgetown, Ontario. Six decades later, the family, now in its third generation, has continued to grow and build successful businesses. In 2018, the Hadley Family Office was established to support this growth and in 2019 the Hadley Family Foundation was founded with the goal of creating positive change through high-impact philanthropy.
